About Herman Services

Rich grew up in a family with a rich tradition of self-sufficiency. For four generations, his family was dedicated to home construction, renovations, and repairs. This legacy instilled in Rich a deep love for working with his hands and a keen appreciation for the trades.
Rich has spent the last 25 years of his career managing residential and commercial properties, responsible for maintenance and operations. He has had a passion for repair, maintenance, and real estate, practically his entire life. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern Illinois University, is an Illinois licensed Real Estate Broker, a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager from the American Hospital Association, and also held a certification from the Green Building Certification Institute as a Green Associate.
He has a lovely wife, two children, a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and three wonderful grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, carpentry, fixing things, volunteering at DuPage Senior Citizen Council and Beacon Hill Health Center where he meets and learns about the lives of some very interesting people. Rich is a Christian and his priorities in life are his faith, family and fellowship
